About Best Hotels Tamarindo

Best Hotels Tamarindo is a small, independent guide to where to stay in Tamarindo and Playa Langosta, Costa Rica. We focus on the practical things that decide a good stay — how close a hotel really is to the sand, who it suits, and what it costs — and we update the guide as properties change.

Affiliate disclosure

Hotel links on this site are affiliate links to Expedia. If you book through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Commissions never decide which hotels we list or how we rank them.

The Langosta Beach Penthouse is our own vacation rental, listed on Airbnb. We mark it clearly wherever it appears.

Accuracy

Prices, ratings, amenities and policies change. Information here was checked in October 2026 against hotel websites and booking sites; always confirm details on the booking page before you pay. Photos of hotels are provided by the properties via their booking listings.

Privacy

We don’t ask for or store personal information. We may use analytics and advertising tools (such as Google Analytics or the Meta pixel) that set cookies to measure visits and ad performance. When you click to Expedia or Airbnb, their own privacy policies apply.
